After defeats in important positions during the last days, the Luyten forces do a desperate operation to turn the tide finally. They want destroy the source of all their problems at all costs: The GTD Washington itself.


Hints:
Order Alpha wing to cover you and fly in direction of the left front of the Washington. Luyten forces will appear from nearly every direction. Attack the enemies near your position together with your wingmates first. In this position you will have, in my experience, to handle only with a few enemies at once and you also support Beta wing, which will try to defend the other side of the Washington. After this wing is down, attack the next enemy until this attack is repelled.
It is a matter of luck how well the Washington get through this attack. It can happen that the Zeus' are even able to destroy or to disarm it completely. As well it can happen, that the Washington get through this attack with 90% hull and all beams are remain operational. In this video you see the most likely outcome of this battle. But prepare for some restarts, to rise your chances if you need to.
After the Myrmidon and Zeus are down, a Blade cruiser called Mercutio will jump into the mission area.
The Washington should have at least two beams which fires on the cruiser. If the Washington do not fire or only with one beam → Restart the mission to save nerves.
If the Washington fires correct, order your wingmates to ignore the Cruiser, the Washington is able to handle the cruiser itself, provided it have enough hull left from the initial attack. Support it in the task of destruction of the cruiser if you need to, but it is better for you, if you can ignore the cruiser and can fight only against the Perseus fighters.
After the fighters are down together with the cruiser, head back to the Washington. A GTT Star Rider starts from the Hangar bay, intercept and destroy it personally!
After the prisoners are down, another transport will jump in together with some Lokis.
If the Washington is unable to intercept the Transport itself, destroy it before it collides, because it is packed with explosives. But was the Washington able to destroy the Mercutio, this transport should not be a problem. So do not attack unless you want or need some kills. The Lokis will attack after the destruction of the transport, but will jump out a short time afterwards.
After this attack is over, the Albertine together with some bomber wings will appear in the mission area. Do not engage, because a cutscene will start after a few messages between the Washington and Bulwark which will end this mission automatically.
There are two additional debriefing stages you can perform in this mission, one occurs if you are able to collect at least 12 kills in the mission, and the second occurs if you are able to keep Washington's hull over 20%. I do not know why i did not get this in the recording, even the Washington have 24% left at the start of the cutscene. It seems that the Washington loses hull during the cutscene aswell, so keep this in mind.
